Anuarul Institutului de Cercetări Socio-Umane “C.S. Nicolăescu-Plopşor” is an academic journal published by the “C.S. Nicolăescu-Plopşor” Institute for Research in Social Studies and Humanities of the Romanian Academy, that appears once a year.
The journal is published since 1999 and since 2015 published entirely in English. The authors assume all responsibility for the ideas expressed in the published materials.

Anuarul Institutului de Cercetări Socio-Umane “C.S. Nicolăescu-Plopşor” is a peer-reviewed academic publication addressed to professors, researchers and doctoral students interested in the study humanities. The journal will be published in December, the Romanian Academy Press, Bucharest.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that providing to the public a free access to research will contribute to a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Anuarul Institutului de Cercetări Socio-Umane “C.S. Nicolăescu-Plopşor” does not charge processing fees from the author(s). All articles published by journal are made freely and permanently accessible online after the publication, without subscription charges or registration barriers.

The core ethical principles and rules that all parties must respect are as following:

• High standards of professional conduct: due recognition of data, research results, methodology, procedures and rules of publication;
• Impartiality and objectivity in the analysis and interpretation of data;
• Confidentiality and protection of personal, institutional and other kinds of information in accordance with current laws and directives of data protection;
• Intolerance of conflicts of interest affecting evaluation and publication, and resulting in a lack of objectivity, malicious misinterpretation and personal and professional bias;
• Non-acceptance of materials which violate the requirements of academic integrity, impartiality and proper language norms;
• All submissions to Anuarul Institutului de Cercetări Socio-Umane “C.S. Nicolăescu-Plopşor” must be original and not published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
